The deductible amount is 20% of the purchase price of the merchandise paid by the customer if its price is below RM200, and 5% if its price is RM200 and above.
For example, if the merchandise's price is RM500 and the repair cost is RM100. Since the price of product is above RM200, the calculation is as per below:
Deductible: [Merchandise's price x 5%]: RM500 x 5% = RM25
The claims amount: [Repair cost – Deductible]: RM100 – RM25 = RM75
Another example is if the merchandies's price is RM150 and the repair cost is RM50. Since the price of product is below RM200, the calculation is as per below:
Deductible: [Merchandise's price x 20%]: RM150 x 20% = RM30
The claims amount: [Repair cost – Deductible]: RM50 – RM30 = RM20
